eSIM Usage Restrictions on Apple Devices

Non-Compatible with eSIM:

  • Region-Specific Devices:

    • iPhones from mainland China.

    • iPhones purchased in Hong Kong and Macao, except for:

      • iPhone 13 Mini

      • iPhone 12 Mini

      • iPhone SE (2020)

      • iPhone XS
         

iPad Models:

  • Only iPads with both Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity support eSIM.
     

Specific Considerations for Turkey:

  • Devices configured after June 23, 2020:
    eSIM activates automatically upon installation. Contact your carrier if activation does not occur.

  • Devices configured before June 23, 2020:
    A specific procedure is required to activate the eSIM, which may involve erasing device data. Ensure you back up your data before starting the process.
